ABOUT HAROLD PYSADEE:

Harold Pysadee has been a broadcaster for almost 30 years. He was a popular voice on radio in Grenada in the eighties, championing the cause of airing local artistes’ music on the radio.

In 1980, when the quality of Grenada’s calypso began taking an upward trend, Harold was one of the on air announcers who adopted the “total local” playlist and earned the endorsement of the listening public. Harold, an ardent lover of sport, was a commentator of almost every sporting discipline in Grenada.

On his birthday, on April 7, 1983 when the first international cricket game to be played in Grenada at the then Queens Park, between West Indies and India, Harold’s was the only local voice on the international commentary team covering the game.

On migrating to the USA in 1987, it was not long before Harold was the host of the popular television show “CultureShare” produced by Gentle Ben TV from 1991 to 1996.

Harold now hosts two radio shows, “New York Connection” on Saturday mornings at 8:30 a.m. (eastern Caribbean time) and “Sunday Sports” every Sunday afternoons at 12:30 p.m (eastern Caribbean time) heard on GBN’s Klassic radio in Grenada and Spiceislander Radio on the internet. Harold is an employee of JPMorgan Chase Bank since 1991 and is an Assistant Manager.

Harold is committed to the children of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique experiencing a decent education, and with his wife Geneva, through their “Pysadee Outreach” program is helping to ease the burden of the nation’s children in need.
