Dear Friends:

The Pysadee Outreach Program spearheaded by Harold and Geneva Pysadee and calypsonian Black Wizard is into it’s third year.

Our objective is to assist our children in Grenada with school supplies such as school bags, notebooks, dictionaries, geometry sets, fun reading books, etc. as well as giving them a fun day to remember, and we believe we are on the right track.

In 2007 we raised $3,100.00 from 20 donors which was used for our distribution at the Bonair Gov’t School in St. Mark. One hundred and twenty children chosen from the Bonair Gov’t and the Samaritan Presbyterian Schools received supplies.

In 2008 we visited the St. Michael’s RC School in Byelands St. Andrew. School supplies were given to about 115 students. We received $3,965.00 from 35 donors.

In August of 2009 we are planning to visit a school (to be decided) in the parish of St. Patrick

Please remember we will be visiting all the parishes in Grenada. We are very grateful for your contributions in the past which have brought great joy to our children who depend on it.
